This primary role of this department is to host weekly Bible Classes in which teachers lead Bible based discussions. These discussions will be guided by the “Sabbath School Quarterly,” a booklet which each class member studies during each day of the week in preparation for the weekly class.
The Sabbath School Superintendent or an assistant superintendent supervises the entire program/service from 9.15 to 10.45. It may consist of a song service, prayer, weekly report, mission feature, class session led by the teacher, offering collection, and other items.
The Sabbath School hosts a Community Guest Day twice yearly, and residents in the immediate community are invited to attend and participate. On this day, awards are often given to one or two persons in the community who have done outstanding community service.
